Yes.: You first need to attend 4 years of medical school, then you perform three years of general pediatric residency, and then you can enter a fellowship program for pediatric hematology-oncology (which lasts three years). It is a wonderful profession.

What do you want to: This is no big secret! you have to first train as a general pediatrician for 3 years, then you go to subspecialty training in hematology/oncology for another 3 years. This is no different than any other subspecialty of pediatrics like gastroenterology or endocrinology.
