Protruding Jaws: Removal of teeth will not change the position of your jaws. Please have an oral surgeon and orthodontist evaluate your concerns before any extractions.

NO!: Expanders in non-growing adults cause Alveolar (tooth supporting) bone damage, unless done in conjunction w jaw surgery called SARPE. Expansion does NOT reduce protrusion. Please consult with fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist, and, if necessary, an Oral Surgeon. Premolars extractions are an efficient way to reduce protrusion of front teeth. Protrusion of jaws indicates need for surgery.
