Is there anything that can cause a large lump on top of your shoulder?

Depends: This could arise from multiple causes. If located over the ac joint you may have a cyst or ganglion off the joint. You could also have a lipoma or less frequent and worst case scenario a soft tissue tumor like a sarcoma. If it is growing or concerning i would recommend a formal evaluation by your pcp or an orthopedic specialist.
