Second line meds: Since majority of the TB meds can cause elevated liver enzymes, substituting them in someone with active TB disease requires careful consideration of several factors. These include - site of tb, duration of treatment, current stage of treatment, concurrent use of other meds & their interactions with TB meds etc. Talk to an infectious disease specialist for an individualized regimen based on above.
