Post pneumonia 8 wk. have post nasal drip i assume from pollen. taking zyrtec. i won't get pneumonia again will i? healthy 34 yr old. please advise

Hopefully no: given that you are a healthy young lady, keep using saline nasal wash, and salt water gargles, if that doesn't work see your doctor, you might need an antibiotic for your sinuses

Probably not: You shouldn't really have to worry. It would have been nice to have some incentive spirometry to help your lungs fully re-expand..but I'm assuming your really back to baseline by now. If you smoke, I would highly recommend quitting. When u smoke, it paralyzes the cilia along your bronchopulmonary tree. This prevents the cilia from getting particulates out of the alveoar airways. This is bad.
