A member asked:

How often can i take my inhaler if i have asthma and bronchitis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Every 4-6 hours: You can use albuterol (rescue inhaler) every 4-6 hours. However if you are needing it that much you should see your doctor because they need to put you an a controller medication or increase your existing maintance meds to address the inflammation in your lungs, so you don't need to be "rescued" too often. They also want to treat with antibiotics to help resolve the infection.
