Taper off: If you look at how much caffeine you are taking in then taper yourself off you can avoid the discomfort of just quitting all caffeine. For exampe if you drink 6 cups of coffee and 3 sodas a day, cut down to 6 cups of coffee and 2 sodas a day for a week. Then cut down each week by one caffeinated beverage until you are off or down to no more than 1-2 per day.
