Probiotics: Generally are given if the flora in the bowel are altered, related to antibiotics or an infection. If you are not faced with these problems, she doesn't likely need them. All the best.

Depends: Although you have heard or read a lot of promotions, there is little "boost"if any to any normal kids immune system with these products. Most kids eat healthy germs all day when they suck their fingers/chew nails/etc. If antibiotics are given, these help restore healthy germs in the gut. These products are not worthless, but seldom worth the hype.
