Might getting my tongue tie cut give me speech difficulties?

Not likely: For many people being tongue tied actually causes speech issues, relaxing this attachment should not cause speech issues and may improve any present now.

On the contrary: A tongue tie, or an abnormally short lingual frenum, can cause speech problems. Often the solution is the "cutting" of the tie. It's kind of unusual to be diagnosed at the age of 36. This procedure is most often done in kids.
