Avoid NSAIDs: You should avoid all NSAIDs as they have cardiac and renal adverse effects for you. Acetaminophen is safe and if not enough relief can use pain relieving opiates. Local injection I of syncing or similar products is feasible as is low dose less absorbed steroids by injection Good luck.

I have tried NSAIDS . Was previously on 800 mg ibuprofen 3x a day. Caused stomach issues. Was put on tramadol. No difference in pain despite taking it 4x a day. Have been given cortisone shots . Helps with pain for approx 2 weeks, then back to pain and discomfort. Pain scale varies between 4 to 7 on daily basis depending on activity. I need to lose weight but knee pain prevents me from vigirous exercise Arthritis?
