Rest, evaluation: Progressive hip pain with overlying redness and heat is very concerning. No more running till we figure this out. Check yourself for fever now. If you have fever 101.5 or up go to ER. If no fever have this looked at tomorrow with careful exam by primary care. Ortho referral may be necessary. Motrin ok for pain tonight.
