Predicting health: While it is hard to hear, the answer is possibly. The good news is sometimes these things don't recur. It is best to have been evaluated by at least one neurologist specializing in strokes. Ask specialist to double check for any underlying correctable cause. If you seek opinion from a new specialist, bring copies of records with you (Labs & scans x 6 year)

Cva: someone who's had a stroke is at high risk for another. Someone who's had two is at risk for more.
