Depends: Acute rehab usually takes about 2 weeks, recovery continues over the months. Exact timing depends on the severity of the stroke.

It all depends on th: It all depends on the type and severity of the stroke. In general if someone requires inpatient acute rehab we are looking at a stay from 10 days to 3 week admission(again this needs to be individualized). After this admission, patients usually require additional therapy either in the home or on an outpatient basis.
