The role of the fami: The family has a very important role for the person who is living with the effects of a stroke. In addition to the very crucial role of emotional support, family members in some situations will need to learn some of the care needed to help with the basic needs of the stroke survivor. In addition, they can encourage and follow through with the strategies and exercises formulated by the therapist.
