Why was i fully aware during dental iv sedation but unable to move and feel pain?

Ask surgeon: There are many different levels of sedation possible. However, with the type of sedation done in the dental office, if you are aware during the procedure, you also can move and talk. You didn't feel pain because you also had local anesthesia. This question would be one you would want to ask your oral surgeon/dentist.
