Cause: I would get to the bottom of it consult a neurologist make sure it isn't something serious and also seek a neuromuscular dentist in your area who specializes in headaches/tmj.

I take aspirin every day (via Excedrin) for headaches. Is there anything else I can take that works as good as asprin but without the side effects? Nothing over the counter works. Even with migraine scrip I still need Excedrin, mostly bc of muscles?
