A member asked:

Im hbsag positive what does it means?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Active infection: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, presence of hepatitis B antigen in blood means active hepatitis B infection. It can be treated and you should see your doctor for treatment.
