Which one is better at detecting blood clots (in the brain) MRI or CT scan?
My son was in a car accident and has a blood clot behind his knee causing pain and cant put much pressure on the leg. His PCP wont put him on blood thinners because he has a CT scan of the brain scheduled for May 10. Should we go back to ER?
