Go to ER or UC: if the severe cramping continues, you should go to ER or Urgent care. Are you having nausea /or vomiting. Is the bowel movement loose/diarrhea? The 2 most common causes of diarrhea associated with cramping are viral gastroenteritis and food related illnesses. These type of illnesses generally resolve without medical treatment, but may need treatment if symptoms severe. Any fever? Last menses?
