Follicles: Most likely your doctor is monitoring the development of ovarian follicles -- the size and number. In some cases this information is used to determine if a BHCG trigger shot should be used. You should ask the doctor when you go for the sonogram what they are looking for and they should explain the process and treatment plan to you.
