Yes: Yes, normal. Episodic nosebleeds often due to local trauma (nose picking), dry air. Have pharmacist recommend some form of lubricating ointment for the inside of the nose. If nosebleeds continue, see ENT dox.

Very common: Most common causes are dry air, nose picking and blowing the nose too hard. Most nosebleeds aren't serious and will stop on their own. Take care.
