How would i know whether a scratchy throat is a sign of something more serious? i also had a bleeding nose 2 days ago.

Sore throat: Do you have a fever? Is air dry where you are. What is your BP as that can rarely cause bloody nose. Most likely cause is common cold. Time will tell.
