The middle "period": The middle "period" sounds like it may be ovulation bleeding associated with the hormonal swings that occur with ovulation.Pain associated with ovulation is so common that there is even a name for it, Mittleschmertz, or middle pain in German. It can be severe enough to be confused with the pain of appendicitis when ovulation occurs on the right. This is the time to have sex. Hope this helps.
