Bisacodyl: Yes, you can take Bisacodyl the day prior to a gastric emptying scan. It should not affect gastric emptying. However, you wouldn't want to take Reglan (metoclopramide) or Erythromycin prior to a gastric emptying scan, as they will influence the results.
