What is the difference between menstrual bleeding and bleeding during pregnancy? i'm confused. i had my period and it was normal and it took 5 days.

A positive test: The answer is simple - the difference is a positive home pregnancy test. If your pregnancy test is negative then this is menstrual bleeding. If the test is positive then this is bleeding during pregnancy and prompt evaluation by a doctor is warranted.
