I been to the doctors 3days ago they told me i had a perforated eardrum and give me tablets,i accenditly got water into it what is going to happen?

Possibly drainage: A perforated ear drum can be due to infection or trauma. Pills probably will not help. It is true that if a perforation exists, getting water in the ear canal and through the ear drum into the middle ear space can lead to an infection.
