No: But it can cause pulmonary embolism or migration of the clots to lungs. Clinically sometimes hard to differentiate, totally different conditions otherwise.

Unusual but possible: Myocardial infarction (MI) could occur "indirectly" from pain, stress, anxiety causing increased heart rate with existing coronary artery disease. Rarely occurs if embolus passes thru hole in heart (septal defect, patent foramen ovale) reaching left heart instead of lungs, then going to coronary artery "paradoxical embolus). More likely that DVT is a complication of MI with immobilization, etc.
