Avapro (irbesartan): Avapro (irbesartan) is a blood pressure medication. It is rare that it would cause neuropathy. Talk to your doctor about other possible causes for your symptoms.

Unlikely: There are numerous causes of neuropathy, even some secondary to compression locally. Many medications can cause a bilateral widespread polyneuropathy, but Avapro (irbesartan) is not usually a culprit. Might check with your doctor and decide whether to continue your medication.
