Potentially: Avapro (irbesartan) belongs to a class of medications called "angiotensin receptor blockers" or "ARBs" that are often used to treat high blood pressure rather effectively. So if headaches are due to elevations in blood pressure then Avaoro may be able to lower the blood pressure and help the headaches. Otherwise, Avaoro is not a blood pressure medicine per se.
