I've had a yeast infection for 5 months. i tried monistat 1, (tioconazole) 3, & 7. i also took diflucan & took it again 3 days later. yet i still have the infection?

Yeast: You may need a prolonged course of an antifungal..not just pulse dosing. The over the counter preparations are hit and miss. Check with your PCP or GYN...they can start fluconazole at 100mg a day for say 7-10 days then re-evaluate. Doses can escalate from here. Wiping from front to back will decrease bacterial and fungal contamination.
