Bleeding after PAP: smear is not uncommon. However, as you have previously experienced it is usually only a very small amount. There are things that can make your cervix more friable (easier to bleed). The cervix is often more friable with sexually transmitted infections (STI). Contact the doctor who did your PAP smear and ask if you were checked for STI, and/or if there is any other suspected cause of bleeding.
