Be Consistent Too: Children between 3-6 years of age require 10-12 hours of sleep nightly. Inadequate sleep can lead to numerous problems including impaired school performance (memory and cognitive), behavior/mood problems, increased risk of accidents/injuries, and impaired social relationships. Good bedtime hygiene helps and includes no TV/computers 1 hr before bed, consistent bedtime even on weekends, warm bath.
