Maybe sciatica: I would say what you describe sound a lot like sciatica especially with deep pain in the backside and shooting pains. You should see your physician and be evaluated.

More history : I can't really help you completely without a good and complete history, and an OB needs to examine you and possibly do more testing to arrive at a list of likely causes. Please go to see your OB to get the answers and care you need.
