Generally safe.: There has been a lot of controversy about the safety of soy products, mostly over the Internet. Essentially, soy is a safe food, with the possible exception being in people who are low on thyroid hormone and people who are allergic to soy itself. In all others, there are no significant concerns, especially if it is limited to two servings or less per day. Eat away.
