Very painful bone spur on the side of my heel. podiatrist had me do stretches, injection, taping, anti-inflammatory, nothing worked. now what?

Surgeon: Is your podiatrist a fully trained podiatric surgeon? If not I recommend that you consult one if corticosteroid injection into the area was not effective.

Heel Spur: It sounds like you have received quite a bit of very appropriate treatment for your heel spur and I am sorry to hear that you're not better. Sometimes a series of ultrasound treatments may help reduce inflammation due to the heel spur.
