Will an old back rib fracture be painful forever?? its been over 2 years.

Old Rib Fx Pain: Over this 2 year period of time, did you ever try intercostal nerve blocks? These nerves run underneath the ribs and can get irritated following rib fractures. We call it intercostal neuralgia or neuritis. These nerves can successfully be blocked & markedly reduce your symptoms. What meds have you tried? Topical mix +/- oral neuropathic meds could still help reduce your chronic pain.
