Fasciculations: Muscle fasciculations is a medical term for "muscle twitching." These are basically involuntary muscle contractions. Many things can cause them, including fluid and electrolyte problems, too much caffeine (or other stimulants), neurologic disorders, psychiatric disorders, and sleep deprivation. Also, over-exertion from exercise to a muscle group can cause it too. See your doctor soon.
