Jaguar: Jaguar, are you on any drugs> drugs prescribed, otc or illicit should be investigated first. Are you anxious and hyperventilating. Has your blood been checked lately for calcium etc.? There are so many variables that only a health care professional can figure it out directly.

Can occur all over: Muscle twitching can be from dehydration or problems in electrolytes. Cramps can also occur with this. Muscles can be affected by changing levels of sodium and potassium as well as thyroid issues. Sustained twitches are unusual as most are transient in nature. Benign muscle twitches tend to occur all over the body.
