Hemangioma: A hemangioma is a benign growth of blood vessels, but if you're having neck discomfort, consult a neurosurgeon who will review the MRI with the radiologist to be sure that this is a hemangioma and whether it's symptomatic and what kind of followup is recommended.

Get a consultation: Spinal hemangiomas are BENIGN tumors that are relatively common. Most cause no symptoms and need no treatment. Some can be in a location that cause compression on blood vessels or nerves. Hopefully the doctor ordering the MRI can give you guidance. If not I recommend you seek out a good spinal surgeon for consultation. Usually they are neurosurgeons or ortho's that specialist in back surgery.
