A member asked:

I had mri of cervical spine and at c6-c7 it says moderate left foraminal narrowing secondary to uncinate processes and facet hypertrophy - what does that mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Translation= The foramen are spaces between the vertebrae where nerves exit to serve your body's needs. The rest of the wording means the side projections of the vertebrae are larger than expected and create a narrow path for the involved nerve.
