Spironolactone: Spironolactone appears acceptable during breastfeeding. The authors of the study estimated the infant received 0.2% of the mother total daily dosage (100 mg of Spiromolactone) in the form of carenone, major metabolite of Spiromolactone. This is not significant to cause effect on the breastfeeding infant.
