A member asked:

Can aflotoxins from penuts induct cancer if one consumes about 200g of penuts a day? what are the chances?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely: The signature cancer from eating aflatoxin is hepatocellular carcinoma and this is very rare in the US except in folks with pre-existing liver disease. One of the unreliable news outlets had a big deal about aflatoxin in peanuts a few years ago, and levels may detectable here, but nothing like the horrible amounts in some parts of the developing world as a result of storing peanuts unprotected.
