Hi Doctor, My father is aged 73. His creatanine level is 6.59, blood urea 380, with normal Na and K+ levels. He's having high BP, and is non-diabetic. Recently, edema was treated with some medication.
A gp the last few months has ordered multiple blood tests due to having hypoglycemic episodes. It consistently shows an abnormal low glucagon level. Im non diabetic. Not aware of lows. Cant get in w/ an endocrinologist & shes not sure what to do?
I am pre diabetic (10+years) Sometimes I monitor at home. My fasting blood sugar has been over 7 very often recently & high at bedtime. My GP tested HbA1c which is normal. My blood sugar during the day is also normal. Im confused. Please advise?
