Folliculitis: These are typical symptoms for folliculitis (hair follicle infection or inflammation) due to shaving. Best to see a doctor for confirmation. You can expect him or her to recommend that you stop shaving at least for a few weeks. And if the problem returns, you may need to not shave at all, or switch to a hair removal cream. Good luck.

Listen to your body: You are shaving a very sensitive area. The razor causes trauma to the skin, resulting in irritation. Stop shaving the area, use a protective emollient like Eucerin, and if there is no improvement in a week or two, get a medical exam.
