Pre-diabetic: This is a very commonly used term but in reality you either have diabetes or you do not. I don't like the term diabetic!. If you have type 1 diabetes you can call yourself "diabetic" . If you have type 2 diabetes you should work to totally get rid of diabetes by paying attention to food intake and exercise. The above 5.7 and 5.6 are not too bad.
