Many: There are many potential causes for itchy bumps but if benadryl (diphenhydramine) helps, you may continue with Benadryl (diphenhydramine) at night and a non-sedating antihistamine during the day. If the problem worsens or persists beyond 6 weeks, see an allergist or dermatologist. My initial take is that you are either having a viral infection or a drug reaction.
