My 7 year old son was stung by a bee and developed red itchy patches all over his body (above his lips, behind his ears, on his legs and back). it all went away after i gave him benadryl.should i be worried? we have 4 beehives in our yard as a hobby?

Keep meds handy: Either he will have a lesser reaction over time as his body adjusts to the sting, or he actually may become much worse. While the antihistamines worked this time do discuss a more serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) with his pediatrician, get some injectable ephedrine, and learn how to inject just in case. Good luck.
