Would a central disc bulge have to be large to cause pain down both legs? mainly feel it in big toes.

Herniated Disc: Usually a disc bulge must be fairly large in size in order to produce bilateral leg symptoms eg pain. However, if the patient has a smaller sized spinal canal, a relatively smaller disc can cause problems like this. An MRI is definitely needed to see. A nerve test may be needed as well.
