Sciatica: Sciatica pain can be very disabling. Fortunately in most cases it is self limited and may take time. Some patients benefit from traction therapy with combination of muscle relaxers, analgesics (short course of opiates), and anti-inflammatory medication. Acupuncture me be alternative. Epidural treatments may be considered prior to surgical alternatives. Hope you feel better soon.
