Teeth don't pop: Teeth don't pop. Perhaps it's cracked and the fragments are rubbing together. Take OTC meds and see a dentist or oral surgeon ASAP.

Popping Noises: I have yet to come across a tooth that made popping noises, but since you are in such terrible pain, why are you not calling a dentist for an emergency appointment? After treatment, any noises should abate.
